VA glass gives the deepest blacks and the highest contrast of the three modes, at the cost of a narrower comfortable viewing cone than IPS.
At 500 cd/m² this is one of our sunlight-readable panels. It stays legible on outdoor equipment, charging piles and vehicle-mounted terminals, at the cost of a higher backlight current - budget for it in battery-powered designs.
Touch is optional on this module. We bond capacitive or resistive panels to the same glass, so you can start without touch and add it on a later revision.
